The Lakme Fashion week celebrated it 15th anniversary with a lavish spread of fashion and like every year Lakme whipped up a sensational new product. It’s time for this backstage trend to take center stage as Lakme introduced its very own playful take on lip tints. Say hello to Lakmé Absolute Lip Pout, a chunky lip colour pencil that gives you scrumptious tint with a dazzling matte finish. Available in six classic matte colors, Lakme Absolute Lip Pout is your go-to lip tint for that effortlessly vibrant and playful look.
It’s no secret that we at Nykaa are big supporters of lipstick. Nothing makes us feel more feminine and confident than a great lip color. Fortunately for us, this fashion season is all about lips and the overall theme seems to be “anything goes.” While fruitilicious hues of peach and watermelon may seem like the obvious lipstick go-to, it’s the perfect opportunity to indulge in every color of the rainbow.

Choose your combination
Here are some cool combinations worth a try; pink and red, red and magenta, purple and pink, or pink and orange–the options are endless. We chose the punchy Pink Fantasy and citric Tangerine Touch. We just couldn’t help recreate Lolo’s look!

Quick Tip: For a subtler look, choose two shades in the same color family. Try pairing a vibrant pink with a pale rose color, or a light cherry red with a deep crimson.
Fill in lips
Carefully apply your chosen colors, one shade on your upper lip and the other on your bottom lip. If you need your lipstick to last all night long try lining your lip with a lip primer or foundation first and then line and layer with the same colour lip liner

Maintain the distinction or blur the lines
If you want to keep the colors completely separate, blot each lip with tissue and dust your lips with setting powder to prevent color transfer. If you like the color-fading look, lightly press lips together. To get the full effect, you may even want to blend a bit of the lighter lipstick onto the darker lip.
