You love your hair but the chemicals present in the hair care products are taking a toll over the texture and the quality of your hair. Don’t worry there are numerous ways to take care of your hair which will be effective and will not be expensive.
Women with oily hair have to take special care of it. "You can wash your hair with vinegar and water. This will strip the oil from your scalp," suggests hair expert Vikas Marwah. Home remedies for oily hair differ from that of other hair types as the oil secretion is much more in this case. "You can make a hair mask by combining multani mitti with egg and curd, apply the paste on your hair and leave it on for 20 minutes," suggests Shanti, owner of Hair and Shanti Salon. Curd gives a shine to the hair and makes them lustrous. Eggs act as conditioner, loaded with proteins and vitamins. They prevent split ends, hair loss and breakage.
Dry hair is very problematic as it leads to different problems like split ends. "For dry hair you can combine oil with curd, apply on the hair for 20-30 minutes and wash it off with lukewarm water," says Shanti. Curd acts as a conditioner and prevents hair from dandruff. You can also apply lemon juice on your scalp. This helps in oil secretion and growth of hair. "Mix Vitamin E tablet along with white oil and apply the mixture on your hair. Leave it over night and wash it off with a mild shampoo," suggests Marwah. We can make a hair mask by adding crushed pepper and garlic along with coconut oil. Apply it on the hair and leave it on for an hour and wash it off with lukewarm water. "Coconut oil works wonder for your hair, it promotes hair growth and stimulates blood circulation," says Marwah. Henna is used as a natural conditioner. Soak henna powder in water and add egg white and lemon juice to it. Apply this mixture on your hair and leave it on for an hour. This mask promotes hair growth. "Henna acts as a strong coating, It makes the hair stronger and prevents breakage," says Marwah.
For Shiny Long Hair
Long, lustrous locks is a dream for a lot of girls; these hair masks can help you achieve that dream. The hair mask can be made by combining one beaten egg along with olive oil. Apply the mixture on your hair and let it stay for 40 minutes. Rinse well with a shampoo. Shampoo with a fragrance is a must for this hair mask. Apply this hair mask once or twice a week for shining soft hair. Besan is an excellent product for hair; it helps in imparting shine to the hair. Take one beaten egg in a bowl, mix two tablespoons of besan and two tablespoons of curd. Add two teaspoons of lemon juice and mix them until you get a yellow paste. Divide your hair in different sections and apply the paste thoroughly. Cover your hair with a plastic shower cap. Leave the mask on your hair for 40 minutes. Rinse and wash it off with shampoo.
Wrap a hot towel over your hair and leave it on for an hour. Rinse out with cold water. This will hydrate and condition your hair.
To Remove Dandruff
There are many products present in the market for the same but the effect is either very slow or the product is very expensive. "People suffering from dandruff can mix curd, coconut oil and lemon juice and apply the paste and let it stay on hair for 20-30 minutes. Wash it off with normal water," sums up Shanti.
You have to cut down on your salt intake and eat mostly whole foods, which lower blood pressure levels and reduce risk of heart disease and even kidney stones. It allows between 1,200 and 2,000 calories a day, depending on your weight loss goals, and insists on lots of veggies, fruits, protein, and whole grains but very little sodium. Sample meals might include a sandwich with soup and veggies on the side, or a large salad topped with chicken, followed by a frozen yogurt sundae. The main focus of this plan is improving cholesterol and blood pressure levels; weight loss is secondary, although it should occur for most people, particularly if you follow one of the reduced-calorie plans.
