Keeping it simple
I used to be a tomboy so I did not care much about a skincare routine when I was growing up. I only starting bothering about the way I looked once I decided to become an actor. I wash my face with an organic face wash. I use a moisturizer and sunscreen after. I usually am using some cream or the other at night that my dermatologist recommends based on what the requirements of my skin are. However I do swear by Elizabeth Arden, an eight hour cream and Clarins’ Beauty Flash Balm.
Fresh and dewy
Makeup is best when it is worn pretty and fresh and that is how I prefer wearing it. When it comes to choosing colour, it depends on what it is for. For my lips, I love pop colours and reds. For the cheeks, it is usually peach or a bronzer. I love NARS for their blush and the Bobbi Brown rouge pot. Laura Mercier has great tinted moisturisers and I like Benetint for their tints. I truly think that Elton Fernandes is a great makeup artist.
I thing that the craziest thing I have ever done with my hair is cut my hair super short in a bob. I hated the way it looked on me and I know for sure that I will never cut it that way again. However, considering the fact that my hair goes through a lot of styling, I make sure to go through the various hair rituals and spas. I use Moroccan oil constantly for the best results. I even apply lots of conditioner and cut my hair short now and then to ensure that the dry hair is all out. I like the work that Ity Agarwal of Psalm 23 Salon does with hair.
Pyjamas and flip flops are the two things that I find myself most comfortable in. My style of dressing is casual chic, simple and clean. I like fun girly stuff as well some androgynous looks. Currently I am playing around with accessories and I am wearing all my bracelets on my wrist. When it comes to wardrobe disasters, I’m sure I have had a few though none really come to mind at the moment. I think that every girl must essentially have a black dress, great fitting jeans, a nice jumpsuit, pencil skirt, and classy shirts in her wardrobe.
Staying fit and sleep early
My fitness mantra is to work out regularly and cut down on the late nights to stay fit. Apart from that, I hate dieting and love food. I am not disciplined with my diet unless I’m shooting. Currently Ahmed from Freestyle Fitness is my favourite fitness expert. Also, I love visiting the spa on a regular basis. I simply love massages and get them often.
