Marathoner, beauty pageant winner, actress and now social activist, the stunning Neha Dhupia wears many hats. And she manages to juggle them all, looking like a million bucks. We spoke to her about her best kept beauty secrets and life mantras. Read on!
The first thing I do in the morning.
I start my day by drinking a litre of water to clean my system. After that, I drink a small glass of water with lemon juice and honey to spruce up my body.
My skincare regimen.
I keep my skin clean by cleansing, toning and moisturizing on a regular basis. I use baby oil for removing make up as it nourishes my skin at the same time. I like to use organic and natural products as far as possible.
The secret behind my skin.
I apply a mixture of multani mitti, honey and lemon on my face. It's an excellent exfoliator and moisturizer all rolled into one. I also drink lots of water to keep my skin healthy, fresh and hydrated. What you eat always shows on your face so, eat healthy! Over the years, I have changed my diet and focus on working out. This has transformed my skin. When you are healthy, your skin glows, and no skin cream can give you that healthy glow from within.

Best beauty hack.
For outings, all I like to use is a sunscreen and a lip balm or lip tint. I am very picky about the skincare and makeup brands I use and usually stick to Kiehl's, MAC and Bobbi Brown as they suit me the best. I like to focus on the eyes for a night out; kohl liner and lots of mascara is my go-to look.
Worst beauty/makeup moment.

My favourite Kiehl's product and why?
I absolutely love Kiehl's as a brand! I have been an ardent fan of their products for so many years. I always apply the lightweight Kiehl's Ultra Light Daily UV Defence Sunscreen before stepping out in the sun. Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate is another favourite; this product is 99.8% naturally-derived and I love the lavender fragrance. My skin feels velvety soft after I apply it at night and I wake up with refreshed, healthier-looking skin in the morning. I also always make sure to use an eye-cream twice a day. Why I decided to associate with Kiehl's Teach For India.
I often feel incredibly lucky. I understand that my family, especially my parents, have supported me and have contributed to getting me where I am today. We don't get to choose the family we are born into. But the family a child is born into should not determine his/her destiny. Imagine the potential of each and every child born in this country. Every child could become an astronaut, a scientist or an artist—a change-maker, a contributor to building a strong India. This is what an organization like Teach For India works towards: An India where all children have access to excellent education. Teach For India wants to get there by building a movement of leaders to eliminate educational inequity. For such a movement, supportive partners like Kiehl's are part of the extended family.
I wasn’t a part of Teach For India prior to the Kiehl’s Limited Edition Project. Although, I have been seeing the work that they have been doing and it is truly commendable. Through the label design for the Ultra Facial Cream and the photo shoot, I got a chance to interact with and spend quality time with the kids and it was absolutely wonderful. All in all, it was a great experience.
