Ranveer Singh’s mane style rules

This dashing Bombay boy has made good. One of the few Bollywood actors to have a university degree (and work experience at Starbuck, no less), he is as brazenly confident and uninhibited as the best of them. A born entertainer and a bit of an attention and chick magnet, his most latest outing was a retro look in Ali Abbas Zafar's Gunday. In fact, both he and his co-star in the film, Arjun Kapoor play—what else—gundays in a plot set in West Bengal in the mid 70s.
A Yash Raj protégée, Ranveer was bitten by the acting bug early in life. "I knew I had to do something related to the performing arts and I enjoyed acting the most as it incorporated so many different art forms,“ he says, adding, “I must say, I was a very filmi kid. I watched a lot of TV and get very influenced by Bollywood when I was growing up."
Debuting in Band Baaja Baraat, going on to do Ladies vs Ricky Behl and finally the soul stirring period film Lootera where he displayed an intense, complicated side to his well known fun-and-brawn persona, Ranveer wowed audiences and critics with his powerhouse performance.

Ranveer has been very experimental with his looks from the very first film he did opposite the lovely Anushka Sharma. Playing Bittoo Sharma a typical Delhi University ka launda, he was herogiri personified with his long mane and badass attitude. That look was clipped into shape for period flick Lootera where he looked shaven and shorn with gelled back locks. The look transformed once again with his grunge, brawny six pack appearance in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s blockbuster hit Ramleela. After the film hit theatres, nary was a man who didn’t at least try to sport a moustache! This was replaced with the slightly unkempt five-day stubble and his ‘70s styled hair in Gunday.
There’s no doubt that Ranveer Singh has turned into a style icon with his ever changing looks and style statements. Sure, managing man hair isn’t as straightforward as working with ladies’ locks. It needs a lot more cropping, nourishing and styling. But you too can sport a to-die-for head of hair and look as dreamy as Ranveer Singh. All you need is a little help from a few multi-facted products from Nykaa’s treasure chest and an express tutorial on how you too can follow Ranveer’s mane style rules.

Get Hair Like Ranveer Singh …
Step 1: Shampoo your hair with a nourishing shampoo for extra body and volume. I have always liked the results from Schwarzkopf Bonacure Hair Grow Shampoo.
Step 2: Conditioning your hair gives it the finish and softness it needs. That so called silky soft shine comes only once your hair is treated with a deep conditioning product like TIGI B for Men Charge Up Thickening Conditioner.
Step 3: Blow drying your hair is the only way to give it that bounce and lift. Work in some Schwarzkopf Bonacure Q10 Volume Mousse. While blast drying strands, use a brush like Kent KS09 Styling & Grooming Brush and Philips HP4940 1600 W Hair Dryer.
Step 4: Part of the charm of this style is to leave locks of hair to fall at will. But that doesn't mean you should neglect spray. Finish the look with Schwarzkopf Bonacure Time Restore Q10 Satin Spray.
