Truefitts first citrus fragrances were originally formulated in the 1870's and quickly became a favourite of Queen Victoria as well as the gentleman and ladies of her court.
- The Imperial Bouquet was specifically blended for Queen Victoria by Truefitts perfumers in 1876 to celebrate her being crowned Empress of India.
- It was a floral fougere with zesty and exotic top notes of citrus and orange blossom from which the present day West Indian Limes fragrance evolved.
- West Indian Limes has lively top notes of lime, lemon, and bergamot combined with a heart of petit grain, neroli and citronella resting on base notes of orange-flower and clove.
- Spray-on and refresh.

Released in 1870, it's a classic. It's just as it says: Limes. Without question, limes completely dominate the fragrance. The lemon is only barely noticeable and I don't pick up the orange blossom, or anything else at all. If you love the smell of fresh limes, this is for you.
