For daily foot care, nothing can beat this two-sided Terra Foot Scrubber to clean away dry skin, buff and polish feet. A traditional tool used since antiquity in India, it works just like a pumice stone/metal file to scrub and slough away dead skin. It has an added advantage - it practically lasts forever, it can never wear out or lose its texture over time. It works for all kinds of foot woes - tired feet, dead skin, cracked heels, calluses and exfoliation. Lather a small amount of soap on your feet and gently scrub to clean and exfoliate. Pat dry and moisturize to seal moisture in. Like all our earthen products, this too is made from lead-free, special, clean, unpolluted red clay.
A 30-second scrub down every morning in the shower when your feet are already wet will keep your feet healthy, soft and clean.
Key Features :
- Ayurveda lays special emphasis on foot care since it believes that all meridians begin in the scalp and end in the soles of the feet. As part of your daily foot care routine, it is indispensable to slough away dry skin and calluses.
- An ancient tool, the Omved Terra Foot Scrubber is made from the finest unpolluted, lead-free, red clay, by first creating small holes or pores in a slab of clay by inserting grains. Once the clay hardens, the grains are removed, leaving behind a rough holed surface. It is then baked ensuring the texture never wears out.
Red natural terracotta scrubber with cord and beads.
How to use product
For everyday foot care, use on a regular basis, usually at the end of your shower. Rinse, pour a small amount of soap on, and gently scrub the bottoms of feet. Alternatively a tsp of Exfoliating Foot Scrub also works very well with theTerra Foot Scrubber.
For a more indulgent treatment, soak your feet for 15 minutes in warm water with the Omved foot soak. Apply some Exfoliating Foot Scrub, and use the terra cotta scrubber. Rinse off, pat dry and follow with the daily body moisturiser or Intense Moisturising cream.
You can also either heat or chill the scrubber for an added effect. Hang dry with the cord.

It actually looks prettier than the photo here. I pre-soak my feet in warm water to use foot scrubbers. The terracotta smell when wet is lovely and its very gentle on skin (not abrasive).
Very effective compared to all the costly scrubbers out there.
