Not having used a bar soap since ages, I bought this because it contains turmeric. Well, it has an earthy smell to it. But since it is a soap, you need to wash it off, hence I donot think the effects are visible. On the positive note, it has coconut oil and bees wax in it; so it does not make the skin dry. I can vouch for it because my skin is normal to dry; and now more dryish in these winter months. The smell is earthy, but I don't mind it at all. It has turmeric for brightening and antiseptic properties, plus many essential oils in it. If you are used to a bar kind of soap, do try this for your face and body.
