I have been using Nivea sunscreen for over a year now. It is perfect for my skin type. Plus the SPF-50 that it contains, protects your skin well from the sun. Repeat application if you are out on the sun for long. Thumbs up to the product!

A good sunscreen within this price range

An affordable sunscreen, this works best on the body than face, as it does leave a white cast, and a slightly oily residue, which takes about an hour after application to be absorbed completely. I would rate it at a 4.5 out of 5.

It has a ittle greasy consistency but is a good SPF lotion.

It has a UVA/UVB protection with SPF 50, which is really good. When applied, initially it felt little sticky to me, but in a while that feeling disappeared. One nice thing about this lotion is that it is different than other sunscreens in it's claim about giving immediate protection. So, one doesn’t need to apply the lotion twenty minutes before sun exposure, you can use it on the go.

This is a very effective sunscreen, spreads on skin easily and absorbs in the skin. The only flaw is it takes time to blend with your skin. Otherwise it is good for summers.

It is a great product for 50 SPF. It is a bit dry and leaves whitish residue if you don't massage it in enough.

Answer by: Team Nykaa on Jun 20, 2016 6:39:26 PMQ.I am new to Chennai the hot city and i got some black patches due to sun light explosure. I am using nevia Sunscreen lotion . I am gong to office . Before half an hour I am applying sun screen lotion and applying ponds compact powder and not removing until i come back home. Some people are telling that I have to wash my face after reaching office to remove the sunscreen lotion otherwise my skin will be torned and blackened further. Please guide meQuestion by: NITHYA on Jul 23, 2014 4:49:00 PMA.Hello,
Actually it is the exact opposite, the reason you still have patches is because you are not using enough sun screen through out the day. The nivea moisturising sun lotion spf 50 will last for max two hours. The skin uses up the active ingredient in the sun screen over time, meaning the lotion applied in the morning before work will no longer be effective. Sweating would cause the sunscreen to wear off even faster therefore consider reapplying the lotion after every couple of hours. After following this routine for a couple of weeks your patches should reduce significantly.
Do not wash of the sun screen after applying or it will not be effective on your dark spots.
