I turned 20 recently and I don't know what kind of acne I got (cystic, hormonal or just a bad reaction to some product) but it was bad because either it wouldn't go away or if it did, it would come back at the same place after a month. There were red tiny bumps on my entire left cheek with a couple of pimples and 3-4 really tiny but red bumps on my right cheek. I tried treating it with tea tree oil and although it seemed to work (very slowly), it caused more inflammation and redness, so I had to stop using it. My skin is really dry and after a lot of research I found out that instead of trying to dry out the acne, I had to first treat my dehydrated skin. Hence, the new skincare routine with hydrating toner and moisturizer, but again the main issue was finding the right cleanser. Something that would both deeply clean my skin but wouldn't dry it and I ended up buying this gel for that purpose. It worked! This face wash is incredibly gentle on the skin yet effective. For the first week I used it just once a day (at night) because this did tighten my skin a bit due to my skin being excessively dehydrated because of all the acne products I used but by the second week I used it twice a day and it worked just fine. I have attached a before and after photo with this review. The photos are taken by a phone camera at a time gap of 2 weeks. My skincare routine for anyone wondering - This gel cleanser, Neutrogena hydro boost toner and Laneige water sleeping mask as moisturizer. I also used "Cipla Nadibact gel" on my pimples as my dermatologist recommended it and sunscreen for the daytime. The quantity and quality of the product is well worth the price.

Great face cleanser it doesn't make skin dry as i have dry and sensitive. It is so gentle on skin doesn't clog pores. Although doesn't observe much difference on acne.
