Apart from its religious significance, Navratri is a festival full of fun and glamour. It’s a complete package. Nine nights of fun, dandiya and festive fashion. During these nine days it is customary to wear nine different colored outfits on each day of festivities and I’m sure you’ve already picked out some fab outfits for all nine nights. But why limit these divine hues only to your outfits? Incorporate them into your beauty looks too. Presenting a cheat sheet to look stunning during all the nine nights of Navratri.
Day 1, Pratipada: Glorious Gray
- Paint all your nails except your ring finger with Nykaa Pastel Nail Enamel - Lychee Delight, No. 82.

- Let the ombre nail dry for 30 secs. and top it with Colorbar Glitterati Top Coat - Retro Silver.

Day 2, Dwitiya: Outrageously Orange
- Give your face a dewy makeup finish. Using a light based foundation.
- Now add some pop to the inner corner of your eyes with Colorbar All - Day Waterproof Eyeshadow Stick – Fairy.
- Create a short wing using L.A. Girl Glide Gel Liner - Very Black.
- Complete the look with NYX Professional Makeup Simply Red Lip Cream – Seduction on your lips.
Day 3, Tritiya: Evocative White
- Paint all your nails except the middle finger with Nykaa Pastel Nail Enamel - Marshmallow Dream, No. 83.
- Now paint your middle finger with Maybelline Color Show Glitter Mania Nail Lacquer - 601 All that Glitters.
- Seal you nail polish with Nykaa Top Coat Nail Enamel - Sugar Syrup, No. 105, top coat.
Day 4, Chaturthi: Ravishing Red
- Start with your base makeup. Use the Freedom Bronzer and contour the hollows of your cheeks.
- Apply Faces Magneteyes Kajal - Lasts All Day – Black to the upper and lower water line.
- Add some volume to the lashes with Maybelline Volum Express Hyper Curl Mascara – Waterproof.
- Complete the look by using NYX Professional Makeup Simply Red Lip Cream - Leading Lady.
Day 5, Panchami: Royal Blue
- Start by sweeping Inglot Freedom System Eye Shadow Pearl Square – 428 colour shadow across your entire lid.
- Now use Inglot Freedom System Eyeshadow Double Sparkle Square – 461 and start blending from halfway across your eyelid. Always blend your shadow upward and outward into the crease of your eyelid. Using the same palette smudge the shadow under your waterline.
- Highlight the inner corner of your eyes with Colorbar All - Day Waterproof Eyeshadow Stick- Fairy.
- Line your waterline and lash line Faces Magneteyes Kajal - Lasts All Day – Black.
Day 6, Sashti: Sunny Yellow
- Paint all your nails Nykaa Pastel Nail Enamel - Marshmallow Dream, No. 83.
- Stick the nail striper tape horizontally on all the nails except your ring finger.
- Paint the nail with the tape with Nykaa Pop Nail Enamel - Sunny Side Up, No. 46. Let the nail polish dry for 30 seconds and peel off the tape.
- Take a small amount of the Nykaa Pop Nail Enamel - Sunny Side Up, No. 46on a piece of paper. With the help of a dotting tool create dots on your nail.
- Seal your mani with Nykaa Top Coat Nail Enamel - Sugar Syrup, No. 105.
Day 7, Saptami: Gorgeous Green
- Start by sweeping NYX Professional Makeup Full Throttle Shadow Stick - Cold Fear - Double Trouble colour shadow across your entire lid.
- Now use Inglot Freedom System AMC Eye Shadow Square Shine - 42 and start to blend it from halfway across your eyelid. Always blend your shadow upward and outward into the crease of your eyelid. Using the same palette smudge the shadow under your waterline and also add some green shade to it.
- Apply Avon Extra Lasting Kajal Redesign to the upper and lower water line.
- Add some volume to the lashes with Rimmel Extra Super Lash Building Mascara - 102 Brown Black.
Day 8, Ashtami: Peacock Green
- Start by sweeping the lightest colour shadow from the Maybelline New York Color Sensational Diamonds Eye Shadow - Tourmaline Purple palette across your entire lid.
- Start by sweeping colour shadow across your entire lid.
- Using a fluffy blending brush, sweep the darkest shade from the Maybelline palette into the outer corner of the eye and the crease to create a dark, intense shadow for the ultimate smoky appeal.
- Create a cat eye with Maybelline The Colossal Liner – Black.
- Complete the look with Lakme Absolute Flutter Secrets Dramatic Eyes Mascara – Black.
Day 9, Navami: Pretty in Purple
- Paint all your nails with Maybelline Color Show Glitter Mania Nail Lacquer - 601 All that Glitters.
- Cut 5 square pieces of tape and place a piece of the square tape at the bottom of your nails. Make sure the pointed corner of the tape is at the centre.
- Paint all your nails with Nykaa Pop Nail Enamel - Grape Jelly, No. 25.
- Seal your mani with Nykaa Top Coat Nail Enamel - Sugar Syrup, No. 105.
