The biggest stars and A-listers from across the globe lit up the iconic steps of the Cannes film festival with the most stunning beauty looks, some of them making us Indians swell up with pride and joy (we see you, Deepika, and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan)). While we can’t wait for some of the most coveted films to be released over the coming week, we’re already bookmarking our favourite beauty moments that have blessed our Instagram feeds this week. Taking winged eyes to the next level, Deepika created an iconic moment on the first day of the festival with dramatic inky wings. Going for a muted classic look, Julianne Moore was photographed donning coral nude smoky eyes and lips. Au natural, windswept and tousled hair seemed to be a common choice in the event as Viola Davis flaunted her bejewelled afro, Rebecca Hall a hot pixie, while Elle Fanning, Julia Roberts, and Victoria's Secret model Jasmine Tookes flaunted beautiful, flowy waves.
The gorgeous Jeniffer Connely opted for a minimal barely-there makeup look that highlighted her strong, signature eyebrows and her chiselled jawline. Aditi Rao Hydari wore a minimal look with defined eyebrows and Josephine Skriver and Iris Mittanare (leading French supermodels) gave us some major graphic eyeliner goals. This list would be incomplete without Aishwarya Rai Bachhan (celebrating her 20th appearance at Cannes) who made us fall in love with her pink lips and exaggerated eyelashes.
