The ‘invite-only’ charity soiree for the Metropolitan Museum Of Art’s Costume Institute played host to attendees parading in garbs inspired by the works of ace German designer Karl Lagerfeld. Lagerfeld, once the creative force behind notable, high-value brands such as Chanel and Fendi, championed a deep-rooted, classical aesthetic with a contemporary spin. This underlying sentiment was prevalent in costume and glam choices for the evening. Soon to make her Hollywood debut, Alia Bhatt channelled the quintessential Chanel bride on the red carpet.
