Move over ombré strands, ombre lips are here! Its the latest two-tone look to subtly contour your pout for greater oomph and pizzazz. The perfect camouflage for thin lipped girls! Now its easier than ever to add dimension and play up the contours of your mouth. The only trick to keep in mind, keep it all in the same color family; try a deep orangey red that fades into tangerine, or a magenta that blends into rosy pink. The darker shade around the corners add definition, while the softer tones at the center reflect light to give you a luscious, juicier smile.

A step-by-step guide to ombré lips
Step 1:
Start by lining your lips with a nude pink lip liner closest to your natural lip color. I used Nykaa Lips Don't Lie! Line & Fill Lip Liner - Pillow Fight 02 for this step.
Step 2:
Fill your entire lip with the nude pink liner after lining the lips. This will act as a base and prolong the wear of your lip color. It will also even out pigmentation if any and create a smooth canvas for the ombré effect.
Step 3:
Apply a neon pink lipstick to the outer half of your lips as shown. Opt for a pigmented, satin or matte finish lipstick for best results. I picked Colorbar Take Me As I M Lipstick in Shade Flirtatious Pink for this step. Make sure to leave the center of the lips bare.
Step 4:
Now using a small lip brush, blend the neon pink color towards the center of the lips creating a smooth gradient as shown
Step 5:
Apply a magenta lipstick to the outer one third of the lips as shown. I used Nykaa Paintstix - Bombshell Berry 09 for this look.
Step 6:
To get a pale highlight in the center of the lips, use a pale nude lipstick or a stick concealer. Dab it in the center as shown. I used IsaDora Treat & Cover Concealer Stick for this step.
Step 7-8:
Using a small lip brush, blend the nude color with the pink on the outer edges to create a gradient or ombré effect. Voila! Were nearly done!
Finish up by applying some natural pink lip gloss to the center of your lips. I used Miss Claire Matte & Pearly Gloss - 112 for this step.
