The finalists walked the ramp in breathtaking Falguni and Shane Peacock crystal embroidered gowns in stunning hues of Champagne, Plum, Purple, Black and Maroon. So we decided to soak in some sensual spring inspiration and give you a brief on how to use royal purple and plum the right way this fruity-floral season.
From lids to lips, we’re seeing vibrant plum make its way onto every runway as one of the hottest spring trends of 2016! But, before you go out and buy just about every purple-toned palette you lay your eyes on, check out the rules to rock this ravishing tint.
While we love classic red, corals and even orange, a perfectly plum pout screams sophistication. Go for a morning-appropriate look by swiping on a deep shade of plum and leave the rest of your makeup on the natural side. Or you could go bold by adding some warmth to your cheeks with light contouring and a simple smoky eye for the perfect nighttime look. Day or night, this shade is sure to make a statement!
Plum Pouts
Fair skinned gals should opt for a sheer shade like Faces Ultime Pro Lip Creme - Grape Martini so that the contrast isn’t too drastic against their milky skin tones. Plum Cheeks

Using a fluffy powder brush or fan brush, swipe the shade from the outer corner of your cheekbone and move in to the hollows of your cheeks to add a pop of warmth to your overall look!
