Spring is in the air and the cold of winter have given way to warmer, lively days. The right eyeliner style can instantly uplift your looks and add drama to your eyes. Indian women with their dark eyes are lucky because they can play up their peepers with an array of colors from blue and green to purple and black. Here's a simple eye makeup look that can be created only by using eye liners that incorporates the colourful theme of spring.
What you will need for this look
- Concealer (L'Oreal Paris True Match Concealer)
- White or Beige eye pencil Kiko Milano Intense Colour Long Lasting Eyeliner - 01 Pearly White
- Forest Green eye pencil (NYKAA Glamoreyes Eyeliner Pencil - Teal Spell 02)
- Purple/violet eye pencil (Rimmel Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Liner Pencil, Shade Purple Passion)
- Black liner (Revlon Colorstay Exactify Liquid Liner, Shade Jet Black)
- Mascara (Maybelline The Colossal Volum Express Mascara)
Step-by-Step tutorial
Step 1 & 2: Conceal your under eye area to give a fresh, awake look to your eyes. I have used L'Oreal Paris True Match Concealer that works well to hide imperfections without a cakey finish.
Step 3: Line the waterline with a white or beige liner. I have used the Kiko Milano Intense Colour Long Lasting Eyeliner, Shade 01 Pearly White here. Also use this as a highlighter under the browbone and the inner corners of your eyes.
Step 4: Use your finger to blend and smudge the liner applied in the previous step for a more natural look.
Step 5: Next apply the forest green eye pencil in a thick line along the upper lash line as shown. I have used NYKAA Glamoreyes Eyeliner Pencil, Shade Jade Jinx 03 here.
Step 6: Using a smudging brush or an ear bud, soften the green liner to give it the look of eye shadow. Do not go above your crease line.
Step 7: Apply a light purple or violet colored liner along the lower lash line as shown. I have used Rimmel Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Liner Pencil, Shade Purple Passion which is perfect for this look.
Step 8: Curl your lashes and finish off with two coats of a volumizing mascara such as Maybelline The Colossal Volum Express Mascara.
Tip: To keep the attention at the gorgeous colourful eye makeup, keep the rest of your makeup simple with a nude lipstick and earthy natural blush!
