There is nothing more relaxing and rejuvenating than getting yourself pampered at the end of a long and tiring work week. Whether it is easing the tiny stressful knots in your tensed up shoulders or mollycoddling those hard working pinkies and toes, it’s a heavenly feeling when your stress is relieved by experts.
This year, Nykaa launched its very own “Beauty Services” offering and we decided to experience it for ourselves by diving into the comfortable luxury of Zazen Spa. Here is my first-hand review! Shh... and that too as a mystery client. The aspect of the review was revealed only once the session ended!
I booked a service package that included a manicure, pedicure, and head-neck-shoulder-back massage. All at a super humble cost! The checkout process at Nykaa went off smoothly without a glitch, and I got the mail and message with all the relevant details shortly after booking the package. I contacted the officials at Zazen Spa, and the appointment was fixed for the next day. I just couldn’t wait!
The moment I entered the spa, the tranquil, gorgeous surroundings instantly melted away some of my fatigue. The second sweet spot of surprise was the comfy and wriggly flip flops that I was offered. After a wait of around 15 minutes, two super-friendly masseuses were sent in to pamper my pinkies and toes. I actually slept while they were at it! When they were done, I was stunned to see what a remarkable difference they had made to my overworked hands and feet in such a short span of time.
This was no ordinary manicure-pedicure too. Zazen Spa uses Puro Body and Soul products for the spa, that are SLS and Paraben-free, devoid of harmful surfactants and silicons. So not only do you have the assurance of nature’s beauty absolving you of your fatigue, but you also manage to help a voluntary organisation aimed at the economic empowerment of women.
My next session was the head, neck, shoulder, and back massage. I opted for a dry one, as oil is really not my preference. Given that the dry massage itself was so comforting, with the masseuse pressing points I did not even know existed, releasing stressed and tense knots, I can confidently recommend the oil massage. The massage lasted for 45 minutes, inside a quiet room, with tranquil music and chants playing in the background, for a truly soothing and satiating experience.
The whole session lasted for around 2 hours, and I must say that this was some money well spent. I came back well rested for the first time in many months. My recommendation? I would definitely urge you to try these spa sessions which come at a really reasonable price. The no-fuss ambience, friendly yet professional staff, and the masseuses, are all worth your time and money.
