Going gaga over Gauhar

Gauhar Khan is a television veteran. A familiar face on advertisements since 2000, the charming and attractive Gauhar hit the jackpot by winning the Miss India International beauty pageant in 2002. Soon after she became the favorite of fashion designers and worked with the who's who of the fashion industry.
Her role in Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year as a reticent but supportive colleague didn't make much of an impact but it did give her a foothold in Bollywood. She joined the cast of the first-ever Bollywood musical, Zangoora: The Gypsy Prince at Kingdom of Dreams, where she plays the female lead; going on to star in films such as Game and  Ishaqzaade, parts that brought her critical and commercial success. She has also participated in reality shows JhalaK Dikhhla Jaa, Khatron ke Khiladi and Bigg Boss 7 where she recently made a triumphant return after being evicted.
Gauhar Khan is not just a versatile actor but a fantastic dancer bringing  oomph and glamor to the screen when she performs.  I daresay she could pass off as the Indian version of Hollywood  celeb Kim Kardashian, an American television personality, fashion designer, model and actress. Both women have a very similar facial structure and sport similar makeup and hair styles.  Gauhar has a classic style quotient and we love her trademark smoky eyes, thick liner and red lips.
Of late the pony tail is becoming a hot favorite; a classic seemingly  simple hairstyle. But before you practice it, remember getting the right height and a firm hold is crucial for carrying off the look. Use the right tools and get the technique right to turn your gym ponytail into the ultimate red carpet style statement. Team the look with a snazzy office suit or a beautiful evening dress. Read on for an express tutorial to master Gauhar's flattering hairstyle.

Step 2:
Pat hair dry. Then, apply a styling cream before blow-drying. We recommend Paul Mitchell Seal and Shine. And of course, we swear by Remington D 5015 Pro Hair Dryer to get your hair style ready in minutes.
Step 3:
When hair is dry, run a flatiron, like the Remington S1510 Ceramic Slim Hair Straightener through your hair. Focus on the middle and end sections to straighten out waves.

Step 4:
Comb hair up and back. Start at the top of your head, and then move to the sides. Eliminate bumps with a smoothing brush that's lightly spritzed with hairspray. As you comb and brush, gather your hair into a ponytail that will sit in the middle of the back of your head. Vega Graduated Dressing Comb and Denman D-80 M Medium Cushion Bristle (Nylon Bristle) both work wonders.
Step 5:
Secure your hair with a stylish elastic ponytail holder or elastic band. Using an accessory around the knot will add a dash of glam and character.
Step 6:
If needed, run a flatiron through your ponytail. Finish by taming fly aways with a soft-hold hairspray, like Paul Mitchell Super Clean Light.
