Infact, a study published in a popular Americal journal suggests that stupid diets could lead to further stupidity in humans. Well, sounds just about right, yes?

While most of us strive to be the best version of ourselves, nourishing the health of your brain is a good start. From super recipes curated by the world’s leading brain coach (oh hey, Jim Kwik) to berries marching up the leaderboard, we’ve curated a list of versatile brain smoothies that can prevent memory loss, strengthen the brain, and provide cognitive longevity.

1. A KWIK WAY TO BEING GENIUS

WHAT YOU NEED

1/2 of an avocado
1/4 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 handful of green leafy vegetables (spinach, kale)
A small handful of walnuts (soaked overnight)
1 tbsp raw cacao
1-2 cups of nut milk of choice or coconut water

2.YOU’RE BERRY SMART

WHAT YOU NEED

1 Banana
1/2 Cup Blueberries
1/2 Cup Cherries
1 Cup Apple Juice
1 Tbsp Flax Seeds

NOTE: Blend the banana, cherries and blueberries with the apple juice. Follow that up by adding the flaxseeds and the pulse until. You could add ice if you want it slightly thicker and colder.

3. SPILL THE GREEN TEA

WHAT YOU NEED

2 Tbsp Honey
1/2 Banana
1.2 Cup Spinach
1 Cup Frozen Blueberries
1 Tbsp Chia Seeds

NOTE: Boil your kettle and make a cup of green tea to begin. Once cool, add 1/2 cup of the tea in your blender with all the honey, banana, spinach, frozen blueberries and chia seeds and whizz until smooth. Add ice if you prefer it cold.

4. STEAL THE CREAM

WHAT YOU NEED

1 Cup Coconut Milk
1 Frozen Banana
1 Cup Pineapple
1 Scoop Vanilla Protein Powder (optional)

NOTE: Pop all the ingredients into your blender or Nutribullet and whizz up until smooth! Add ice if you want to make it colder.

5. YOU’RE MORE THAT OKALE!

WHAT YOU NEED

1 Cup Apple Juice
1 Cup Kale
1 Kiwi
1/2 Banana
1 Tbsp Flax Seeds

NOTE: Boil your kettle and make a cup of green tea to begin. Once cool, add 1/2 cup of the tea in your blender with all the honey, banana, spinach, frozen blueberries and chia seeds and whizz until smooth. Add ice if you prefer it cold.
