If you are someone like me who loves creating different eye looks, then we have some fabulous new for you! Kay beauty recently launched four gorgeous eyeshadow palettes that will help you ace your eyeshadow game and how. Of course, like every new launch, I am going to delve deep into the product to bring into fore exactly what the product is all about. Scroll down below for all the deets.

What: Kay Beauty Eyeshadow Palette

The Look: The packaging has an illustrated art work created by Gaurvi Sharma specially for Kay beauty. Inside the palette there is a mirror, and each shade has been named so as to make it easier to create looks.

Variants: There are four versatile palettes that will suit all Indian skin tones.

  • Pure Bloom which is a peach palette encompassing pretty floral hues; think peachy, pink day shades.
  • Self Love which is a wine palette encompassing hues of love; think deep berry and wine shades.
  • Wild & Free which is an earthy palette encompassing hues of nature; think gorgeous blues, greens and browns.
  • Bare Soul which is a nude palette encompassing hues of self; think natural nude shades.

Ingredients: The product is infused with Macadamia Nut Oil that is light-weight and gets easily absorbed into the skin—without making it oily or greasy. This ingredient is also known to have moisturizing, regenerating and softening properties on the skin. Moreover, it contains Aloe Vera Oil that forms a hydrating canvas for eyeshadow application, plus locks in moisture.

Formulation: This one is a 9-in-1 palette which encompasses game changing matte and shimmery hues; the shades have been thoughtfully curated to enable you to create unlimited looks. The eyeshadow itself is created with silky, ultra-fine particles that makes it creamy and easily blendable; think, a one stroke high pigment formula that is transfer proof and smudge proof. It’s also cruelty-free, paraben and Paraffin free, dermatologically tested as well as Mineral Oil free.

Experience & verdict: So, there are so many things that I love about this product. For one the packaging is one-of-a kind and looks amazing on my vanity table. Next, the formulation is a clear win for me. Since I have hooded eyes, eyeshadows which are powdery, often end up as fallouts all over my face. Not this one though; the product blends like butter and stays puts without any transfer or fallouts. Trust me when I say this: I didn’t have to retouch my under-eyes after creating an eye look. Thirdly, I love how pigmented the shades are—which implies you don’t have to use a ton of products and end up in a messy state. Last but not the least, the specially curated palettes have a great mix of matte and shimmery shades that can be mixed and matched to create multiple looks. PS: My favourite is the Pure bloom that I have been wearing for all my zoom meetings!
