With no signs of the makeup trend dying down anytime soon what better way to get camera ready than with a makeup quickie! Follow these easy steps to doll-like perfection sans a luminous filter!
Step 1
Prime
Start with MUA's Skin Define Hydro Primer. Apply the face primer to the centre of your face and use gentle, circular motions to blend the primer outwards. Due to its lightweight gel texture in an aqua base your face will transform to a smooth canvas with even coverage.
Step 2
Foundation
Pick a moisturizing foundation that perfectly matches your complexion such as The Body Shop's Moisture Foundation enriched with SPF 15. Begin blending liquid foundation with a soft full-bristled foundation brush from the centre of your face moving outwards to avoid noticeable makeup lines.
Step 3
Conceal
Next, dot small amounts of L.A. Girl's Pro Conceal HD on all problem areas; under eyes, spots and blemishes. Then use your bare finger tips or a concealer brush to blend the concealer for an airbrushed finish.
Step 4
Contour
To sculpt your face use Freedom Pro Contour to add depth and dimension. Start by making strokes below your hairline, at the top of your forehead and your temples, along the right and left sides of your nose, the hollows of your cheekbones, and along your jawline on both sides, from your ears to the tip of your chin. Blend in all the product seamlessly with MIB's Contour Blending Brush for a sun-kissed effect.
Step 5
Highlight
Now for some fun! Using NYX Professional Makeup Born To Glow Liquid Illuminator highlight your cheekbones, bridge of your nose, inner corner of your eyes, the inner brow bone above your brow, Cupid's bow, centre of your chin and centre of your forehead with a flat foundation brush. After this step, your face will be visibly glowing.
Step 6
Eyes
Use Lakme's Absolute Illuminating Eye Shadow Palette - Gold to add a dash of colour. Go into the crease with the peachy shade. Sweep it across your entire lid. Next go into the outer and inner V's for a halo effect with the darker grey shade in the pan across. For the centre of the lid use the darker peach and blend all three shades evenly for an enticing color payoff. You can use the earlier peachy shade of this eyeshadow palette on the bottom waterline too for added color. Finish up with oodles of mascara.
Step 7
Lips
To create plumper lips, start by lining them with L'Oreal Paris's Infallible Never Fail Lip Liner – Nude Then add a generous amount of SUGAR's Smudge Me Not Liquid Lipstick - 05 Rust Lust to complete the look.
