Nykaa Rock The Line Kajal is enriched with Vitamin C and E and promises triple-black pigment.
What the kajal claims:
‘No tugging, budging or smudging’ is what the Kajal claims to offer!
Our verdict:
  • Waterproof: I washed my face twice and it was still intact. Yay!
  • Smudge-proof: I have a super oily skin but still the product managed to last long. 100% smudge-proof.
  • Pigment: It does deliver on its triple-black pigment claim!
  • Lasting power: Compared to other Kajals in the same price range, it is long-lasting and stays for five to six hours.
  • Application: Extremely smooth while applying and glides like butter. I tried it on both my lashline and waterline and it did quite well.
  • Texture: Smooth texture that doesn’t irritate your eyes.
Overview:
I have an extremely oily skin and almost nothing suits my eyes except some super expensive eye products.  But at this price, this kajal did exceedingly well! I was wearing it for an entire day at office and even after washing my face and rubbing my eyes, the kajal did not budge. Smooth application and jet black pigmentation makes it a budget worthy product.

This kajal is infused with the goodness of Cocoa Butter, Vitamin E and Olive Oil Esters, it glides like butter. Made with a new generation formulation for intense color.
What the kajal claims:
To be super pigmented for an intense black color. Water-proof and smudge-proof for up to 12hrs.
Our verdict:
  • Water-proof: This kajal lasts barely 2 hours on your waterline. It then leaks downs and sticks under your eyes for an eternity.
  • Smudge-proof: It starts smudging in 2-3 hours, so doesn’t live up to its 12-hour claim. Gave me panda eyes!
  • Pigment: This Kajal didn't impress me with its pigmentation. I had to keep swiping it 3-4 times to get the desired look.
  • Lasting power: In this kajal's defence, I have to mention that I have oily skin. But saying that, this kajal still did a poor job. It lasted on my waterline for hardly 3 hours.
  • Application: The application is smooth and the retractable design makes it convenient.
  • Texture: The texture is good. Doesn’t irritate eyes and is safe to use, if you wear contact lenses
Overview:
Honestly, I have seen better kajals in the same price range. The packaging is good, but the product doesn’t do it justice. You’re better off with some other kajal.

The kajal is formulated to enhance your eyes with its intense, fade-proof color.  The kajal is deeply pigmented and can be used on the waterline and lash-line.
What the kajal claims:
The name says it all! The Magneteyes kajal is smudge-proof, fade-proof and long lasting.
Our verdict:
  • Waterproof: Though consistent, the product is not water-proof. The only con it possesses!
  • Smudge-proof:A 100 % smudge-proof, this one is perfect to use for those long days that stretch to never-ending evenings. (Read: A typical Monday.)
  • Pigment: The pigment of this product is bold as it is extremely intense.
  • Lasting-power: Delivers what it promises, it is literally fade-proof!
  • Application: Easy to apply, one swipe is all it takes.
  • Texture: Soft and velvety texture that provides a smooth finish.
Overview:
Excellent product, a definite must-have for all the makeup enthusiasts out there.

Lakme Eyeconic is dermatologically tested to avoid any eye irritation. The kajal is heavily pigmented and one swipe is enough.
What the kajal claims:
The kajal claims to be super pigmented, smudge-proof and long lasting for up to 10 hrs.
Our verdict:
  • Waterproof: Lives up to its claim of being a completely water-proof kajal.
  • Smudge-proof: After 4-5 hrs, it does tend to smudge a bit though this is only a problem for extremely oily under-eye skin.
  • Pigment: Highly pigmented and jet black in color.
  • Lasting power:  Truly long-lasting, you can expect the kajal to be wearable for minimum of 7-8 hrs.
  • Application: Glides on easily, though tends to break if pressed harder. Do not expect it to give you cat-eyes or a winged eyeliner if you aren’t a pro at it!
  • Texture: Smooth and soft in texture
Overview:
The Eyeconic Kajal from Lakme is a twist-up kajal that comes in sleek, black packaging and is a truly must-try product. I wore this kajal both on my lashes and waterline and trust me, it didn't disappoint me at all. Having extremely oily eyelids and waterline, finding a decent pick kajal for everyday use is a hassle. Lakme Eyeconic stays true to its claim of being water-proof and long-lasting, I splashed my face with water after 7 hrs. and it didn't smudge at all!! This one is a complete must-have for all makeup lovers who are looking for a kajal which works well as an eyeliner too. I love how dark and pigmented it is, and how smoothly it glides on. The only con for me is that because the kajal is on the softer side, it tends to break frequently. You end up finishing most of it in week if you’re not careful!

The kajal is a gel-based 2-in-1 kajal-cum-liner. Infused with Vitamin E, it’s 100% preservative-free and vegan. It’s also tested and approved by dermatologists and ophthalmologists.
What the kajal claims:
Just one swipe leaves a dark pigment that lasts for up to 12 hrs. It’s also water-proof and smudge-proof.
Our verdict:
  • Waterproof: It’s not completely water-proof. I washed my face with water and the kajal got a little lighter.
  • Smudge-proof: By the end of the day, the kajal did travel down the waterline to the lash line. But it definitely doesn’t give you panda eyes.
  • Pigment: It’s super pigmented. However, you will need two swipes for an intense look. However, one application does do it justice.
  • Lasting power: The kajal doesn’t fade away completely but does gets a little lighter.
  • Application: Super smooth application.
  • Texture: The texture is smooth and not grainy.
Overview:
When I used it on Day one, it didn't give a very good pay-off even after two-three swipes. However, when tried on the bare eye just one swipe gave enough pay-off. The good part about the kajal is that it doesn’t give you panda eyes. It also doesn’t cause eye irritation. However, you will need to re-apply during the day.
