So, when the opportunity to try and test infallible makeup snags from a handful of niche global labels presented itself — you girl pounced on it. 1. Pley Beauty Pleyer Palette
Pley Beauty encourages audiences to tap into their experimental and ‘pleyful’ side with the aid of makeup. Safe to say that founder and Cobra Kai fame actress Peyton List manifests this vision with aesthetically pleasing palettes boasting potent formulations. I managed to get my hand on the Pleyer Palette last month and boy, I am smitten and how. These high-impact shadows, ranging from matte to shimmery, give you a perfect pop of colour over the eyes. I have been making the most of the variant-love child! The palette houses a pretty periwinkle and a bold blue that ties in very well with my summery aesthetic. Moreover, the hues are long-lasting, pigmented and transition exceptionally well from day to night.
2. Rom&nd Juicy Lasting Tint - 13 Eat Dotori
Celebrated for her unique and transformative makeup abilities, South Korean influencer Saeron Min is the heart and soul of the beauty brand Rom&nd. The juicy lasting tint from this line is now available for Indian audiences only on Nykaa’s Cross-Border Store. The shade Eat Dotori, inspired by the colours of autumn, is ravishing! I have been using it on days when I instantly need to elevate my appearance with no time to spare. Only one swipe of the wand gives me a clear finish over the lips. The formulation is light and doesn’t bleed, a must-have in your vanity for this season.
3. Colorgram Milk Bling Shadow
With innovation at its core, K-Beauty has birthed several brands with a unique ethos and aesthetic appeal that caters to one’s whimsies. One such entrant on the block is Colorgram. I have been following this enterprise’s journey for a while and have been obsessing over the Milk Bling Shadow (thanks to Instagram). So, you can only imagine my excitement when I finally got my hands on it. This liquid shadow is available in three sparkling shades and is perfect for flaunting a striking, iridescent swathe over the lids. The nifty tube sits tight in your handbag and transforms into a wand — you know, for some glitter magic on the go! I love wearing it for my Saturday night outings as it doesn’t budge for hours. The biggest USP for me is how there is no fallout while applying the product.
4. WakeMake Water Blurring Fixing Tint
Another sensational offering from the ‘Land Of The Morning Calm’, the WakeMake Water Fixing Tint. WakeMake is a breakthrough brand which combines the fun of makeup artistry with the functionality of potent skincare. The fixing tint impart the lips a matte-sque pop of color with a watery finish. Infused with 8 varying HA molecules which aim at intense hydration, making it perfect for anyone with chapped or flaky lips. Available in 8 natural-looking shades, I gravitated the most towards Pink Stitch. Coral is the shade of the season, and I have been flaunting it at parties and get-togethers.
