Growing up with a sibling (or a brother, to be specific) comes with the assurance of having a permanent roommate, a 24x7 support system, a BFF, and an always-on competition of who’s better than who. Having a sibling may seem like a blessing and a boon all at once, because while you may always get on each other’s last nerve, at the end of the day it’s them you go back to. That brings me to Raksha Bandhan. A celebration of special bonds, funny but cute traditions (my brother actually plays barter with me, i’m not joking), and a chance to spoil your sibling. My fondest memory of this festival is when as kids, my brother touched my feet and would always come bearing gifts, however small it may have been. It’s the thought that counts, you know?! As we grow old, our wishlists, by that we mean, #SisLists have grown in terms of the quantity of products and expectations (because why not? hehe) From being content with a box of chocolates to expecting beauty gift sets from your favourite brands, the standard of demands is only going higher, my friend.
