We have been waiting for this moment forever. Sultan is out and we’re loving Salman “Bhai” Khan in all his wrestling glory. Full of action, this super hit also has Anushka Sharma pulling out all the stops and entertaining us with power packed punches. In fact, apart from Salman, all kudos to Anushka who looks in her best shape ever. As Aarfa this talented actress personifies the Nykaa girl whose strength lies in her quiet but resolute ability to focus on her true passion without melodrama. As she says, “Every Indian home as a hero.”
Inspired by her fabulous role and dedication as a professional I decided to work on a piece that teaches you how to keep your post-workout glow intact ...all day!
Did you know that breaking into a sweat isn’t just good for your figure, it’s also good for your complexion. After all, it boosts circulation and helps detox the skin. But that being said, blotchy, sweaty skin is often a common fallout of a session in the gym. So here’s what a girl’s got to do.. Follow these tips and you’ll go seamlessly from the locker room to the conference room looking ravishing all day long.
Cleanse off the sweat
Sweat mixes with makeup, especially if your skin is still warm. It tends to absorb powder makeup that causes skin to appear blotchy. So wash your face with cold water to reduce redness and minimize pores or swipe skin with facial cleansing wipes. Opt for those infused with Aloe, Chamomile or Lavender, ingredients that calm post-workout redness.
Balance the blotchiness
Apply moisturizers that have redness control or use a makeup primer that targets redness. Follow this with a tinted moisturizer to even out your skin tone.
Dab and go
Pat concealer only on areas you need to hide like under-eye circles and any blemishes.
Let your natural post-workout glow work for you
Skip the blush and sweep on a little bronzer to balance out the skin.
Next, curl lashes, and layer on a few coats of mascara
Got an extra minute and want a more dramatic look? Line the inner rims of your eyes.
End by adding a hint of color to your lips
This will leave you polished, and ready to glow after your workout
