And easy on the pocket too…
At-home facials are easy to do. Besides they can save you a ton of money compared to a regular salon visit. For a great at-home facial, you’ll need simple products.
The three basic must-haves are cleanser, toner and moisturizer. If you want a deeper cleansing, include exfoliation and a mask.

Step1: Cleansing

Pamper your skin by steam. This will help to open your pores. All you need is a face towel or washcloth, and warm herbal tea like mint or jasmine.
Soak the towel in the tea, squeeze out the excess and place the cloth over your face and neck until the towel cools.
Then, use a mild soap-free facial cleanser like Kaya or Clinique soap free gel cleanser to thoroughly cleanse your face, working up the lather into pores for a minute or more. Massage the cleanser into your skin with circular motions to remove dry skin, makeup, and oil. Gently pat the skin dry with a clean towel.

Step 2: Toning

Because your skin’s pH is unbalanced during cleansing, buy a toner that restores your skin’s pH balance. Look for a toner that contains aloe and anti-oxidants. We like Garnier and The Body Shop. Apply lightly with a cotton ball over skin and neck, letting it dry naturally. If you didn’t have the time to buy one, use apple cider vinegar, a common kitchen ingredient that quickly restores the skin’s natural pH balances. Don’t use alcohol-based toners because they dry out skin.

Step 3: Moisturizer

Look for a hypoallergenic formula that doesn’t clog pores. We like Ponds and L’oreal Paris. If you are prone to blackheads you can use VLCC Walnut – Skin Defense Face Scrub. Exfoliating pads that are great at buffing away blackheads.
Follow up with a clay mask to close pores and tighten skin. You can make one at home by mixing together white clay, egg white, dash of milk and rose water. Leave on for fifteen minutes to restore your skin’s natural glow and lustre.
Quick Tip: No matter what your skin type is, never skip on moisturiser!!! This is a message for the oily skin beauties who tend to skip the moisturiser.Try using non-oily moisturiser like Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisture Combination Skin
So, these are the three steps of this basic skin care routine which must be done every day – once in the morning and once before you go to bed. Do this and feel the difference!
