Yes, ID/Address proof is mandatory to get delivery of Cross Border Store orders.
Since
your order will come directly from the brand/distributor outside India, we need to
clear
the shipment from the customs department once it arrives in India. Again, this
coordination with customs will be done by our team and you will have a hassle-free
experience once you submit the documents.

No, submission of ID/Address proof is a one-time process for every customer. Once
you
have completed the verification process, we automatically fetch all your details for
future orders on your behalf for the custom clearance process.
How do I submit the ID/Address proof
for Cross Border Store Orders?
You will receive a link on your registered Email/SMS/Whatsapp from Aramex (our
logistics
partner) ONLY after your order has been shipped. You can use the same link to upload
your documents & complete the verification process.
NOTE: The provided details (ID/Address proof) must exactly match
the details you’ve used
while placing an order.
What are the acceptable ID/Address
proof documents?
You can submit Aadhar Card/Passport/Voter ID card as ID/Address proof. Please note
that
the name & address on your ID/Address Proof needs to exactly match with name &
address
details that you have used while placing the order.
What if my shipping address is
different from the one on my ID/Address Proof?
You can additionally submit a document where the address exactly matches your
shipping
address. Please submit any 1 of the documents mentioned below :
- Notarized Rent Agreement
- Electricity Bill
- Bank Account Statement
- Employee ID
- Hostel Fee Receipt
- Hotel Booking Receipt
- LPG Connection Receipt
What documents should I submit if I
am ordering gifts for Relatives/Friends?
Your friends/relatives ID/address proof will be required for document verification
in
the customs clearance process.

the
details you’ve used

Can I submit documents to Nykaa
instead of uploading on the link shared by Aramex?
Yes, you can submit your documents to Nykaa along with an authorization letter
stating
that you wish Nykaa to complete the process on your behalf. For more details

Is it mandatory to submit the
ID/Address proof documents on the link sent by Aramex?
Yes, you must submit the required documents within 24-48 hrs of receiving the link
shared by Aramex (our logistics partner).
NOTE: Failure to submit ID/Address proof will lead to seizing of
the
order at customs
and the delivery will not be completed in such instances.
Are there any other documents
required apart from ID/Address proof to deliver the shipment?
In rare instances, you may need to submit additional documents to the customs team.
