I've never tried an Estee Lauder eye pencil before. I was pleasantly surprised at how rich the color is, it's fairly soft on the water line but doesn't smudge. If you like high end eye pencils, this is good. It may not be the only good option out there, and it is on the pricier side. If you want a pencil that you can use every day, you'd run out of this pretty quickly. The smudger is a bit hard on the skin but it gets the job done. A smokey wing would be sexy!
