I like this enzyme-based cleanser from Mario badescu because for one thing it's enzyme-based so it's much more gentle on the skin for exfoliation versus an acid-based or a physical exfoliant. Enzymes work by breaking down the dead skin cells into smaller particles so that they can naturally be swept away easier instead of literally peeling the skin and creating inflammation on the underlying live layers like a chemical AKA an acid base cleanser wood. This particular cleanser is not a foaming one so if you are looking for lather this is not going to be it which is another good thing for sensitive reactive skin to not have a foaming cleanser because that surfactant can dry out and cause micro irritation as well because it will dry out the epidermis by dehydrating it rather quickly because water is stripped away before oil. So if you are oily but dehydrated this is one I would also recommend because some of your oil production could very well be because the skin is lacking in water. So if you tend to be easily congested and oily but at the same time rather reactive sensitive try this I think you'll be pleasantly surprised and the packaging is minimalistic recyclable which I love and I think that the price point for the larger bottle in particular is quite good.
