Well , Dandruff is not the directly related to acne everytime , but it seems to be the prudent reason in a lot of cases , due to the oily skin one might have , the dandruff from the hair , falls on the face , neck and back , and settles over their , and penetrates the skin due to it being oily and causes a zit. I know this because I have been through it , and the acne caused by dandruff is painful as well. If you have oily skin , the dermatologist will recommend some anti dandruff shampoo , along with some medications for acne.
