Turmeric is known for its excellent skin whitening properties, so you can definitely trust this ingredient when it comes to skin brightening. Mix some Bengal flour, turmeric, and freshly squeezed tomato juice to make a paste out of it. Apply this mixture to the affected area and leave it for around 15mins.  Later just wash it off with normal water.
