take hormones. Over the counter anything will not fix hairfall. Now that you know it's not iron deficiency, thyroid or seborrheic alopecia- treat what's actually causing the hairfall. I've found biotin pills to be effective, multivitamins and omegas are always great. You want to work on your diet as well- make sure you're getting enough protein, and nutrients. Take care of your hair in the meanwhile- protein or deep moisture treatments (take a fallen off strand and if it's stretches too much hair lacks protein, if it snaps off too easily it lacks moisture). While aphogee isn't available in India, you can always look for biotin and keratin in the ingredients list- glycerine and fatty alcohols are great for moisture. Pick a shampoo that's pH balanced- you want to keep it between 3.5 and 4.5- and preferably free of sulphates. Silicones suddenly have a bad rep but they're great for hair- don't use products that are extremely heavy on the ones however. Use a serum or a leave in cream for added moisture and hold. I use olaplex 1 through 5, so currently don't have any drugstore recommendations for you. Also consider drying your hair with a diffuser attachment- I find that it cuts frizz and consequently cuts hair loss because of breakage. I find sleeping on silk pillowcases, using invsibobbles or silk scrunchies and drying your hair in a t-shirt instead of the usual terry towels are also great for cutting frizz.
