Hi,The best way to get the correct foundation fit is to determine three things: undertone, skintone, and skintype. For identifying the undertone you will have to analyze the color of your veins. There are three different undertones - cool, warm, and neutral. If you have blue or purple veins then it's the cool undertone, if it's yellow or olive then it's a warmer undertone and if you have both blue and olive veins,then its a neutral undertone. Coming to the skintone, you can differentiate it by looking at the layer of your skin. It can be dusky, wheatish, or fair. Once you are clear with the undertone and skintone, you just have to identify the type of skin. If you think it's dry choose a hydrating and water-based foundation if it's oily choose a mattifying and oil-controlling formula and if it's sensitive make sure you try a patch test first before buying one or using it on the entire face.
