Is conceling dark acne marks with orange lipstick is a right thing?

Hey nykaa team, usually I concel my dark acne spots with LA pro Orage one.i heard that even the orange lipstick also works good for that.is that true??if so which lipstick brand should be used??

Hey @sushmitha tI feel using LA girl color corrector is a better option. I've seen many people using lipstick as corrector but it's a product which is meant to use for lips. And Color Correctors are designed to cover blemishes with correct formulation and textures.

Hi @sushmitha tI would say avoid using lipstick in acne or acne marks, as mentioned by @Tejal Shah they may have some ingredients which may not suit the skin and may react.You can use it as a quick fix occasionally as a alternative. Acne marks can be of any color if its red in color use green corrector and if its dull black mark use orange corrector to nullify the color. Hi @sushmitha t Yes, that's true. You could use any orange lipstick that has creamy texture. It works like a color corrector to cover your under eye circle, acne and blemishes.

Hey @sushmitha t also for dark acne marks, I would recommend a red corrector before concealing and if its red acne that you want to cover use green corrector before concealing.

Hey @sushmitha tIf its helping you to conceal then use it , but ideally lips products are designed for lips,similarly skin ones for skin.Once in a while its ok if you use it but not every time .

Hi @sushmitha tYes people do use lipsticks as corrector but as a Makeup artist, I would recommend using a proper corrector because the right shade and texture of concealer can make a huge difference wherein lipstick might bleed. So one of case you can but not always.
