No need. If you moisturize your face well then a primer is unnecessary. Just remember to wait at least 10 minutes after applying moisturizer and then put on make up so that the moisturizer is well absorbed into your skin. Otherwise the makeup will just slide off ?

If you use ocassion ally only   .. Ice ur face before moisturizer and foundation if you have large pores .. Or like me use a bb cream as primer. It works well

Primer is usually to give a smooth surface for the foundation to glide on and also to blur out the large pores on skin. It also helps in preventing the oxidization of the foundation.
