Although it does not add to the shelf life, most makeup products such as liquid foundation, creamy lip & eye pencils that need sharpening and creamy concealers can be stored in the fridge to maintain the freshness of the product and to keep them from melting during summers. Though, keep in mind, refrigeration does not equal preservation.

Hey, you can keep homemade or organic cosmetics without preservatives in the fridge. other products cant be kept in the fridge since the bacteria can cause infections.
