Q: Maybelline Mesmerizing Magenta Color Sensational Creamy Matte Lipstick Review

Hope you are doing good! Today’s review is on a lip product from the Maybelline Color Sensational Creamy Matte range. The shade is called ‘Mesmerizing Magenta’ and the shade number is 680.Mesmerizing Magenta’ looks like a beautiful magenta shade in the tube but when swatched or applied on the lips, it shows up as a gorgeous medium pink with a blue duo-chrome effect. This is quite a unique shade which would suit all skin tones and brighten up the face immediately....??

Texture: As the name suggests, this is not a true matte lipstick, but a creamy matte one. It is not drying like you might expect from a regular matte lipstick. This formula is really creamy and glides easily on the lips. This feels very similar to the Rimmel Kate Moss matte lipstick formula.

Pigmentation:

The pigmentation is absolutely amazing. One swipe results in full opaque color.❤

Finish: The finish looks velvety matte with one coat, but if you add additional coats, you can see a very slight sheen. Being a semi-matte finish, it does accentuate dry spots on the lips. It is best to exfoliate your lips before you use this. The lipstick is not drying on the lips but neither does it add any moisture to the lips. So after wearing it for over 5 to 6 hours, I feel the need to apply a lip balm. It is better to apply a thin layer of lip balm on your lips before applying this lipstick..?
