Q: Review - Plum Green Tea Revitalizing Face Mist

PRICE: Rs 360 for 100 mL

What the brand says: For all those times during the day when you need freshness on the go, reach out for this easy-carry, quick spray face mist that not only cools down & refreshes skin, but also revitalizes it. Specifically made for combination and oily skin, this revitalizing face mist is infused with green tea, aloe juice, ginger root, goji berry and ginkgo biloba extracts – rich in antioxidants, minerals and acne-fighting compounds.

Packaging: The face mist comes in a travel-friendly spray bottle which is easy to use on-the-go and isn’t bulky at all. The bottle is transparent plastic so you could see how much of the product is left.

Texture: The face mist is just like water and dries down to a matte finish, just how water does. You wont feel anything on the skin once it is dried which is great for oily skin.

Fragrance: The face mist has a fresh fragrance which is quite strong and can totally mask my perfume fragrance for a few minutes.

How I use and after-effects: One great thing about facial mists is that they can be used in more than one way! I love using this on bare skin throughout the day while I am home to keep my skin feeling fresh, to prep my skin before my night time skin care regime, before applying a primer/makeup, to wet my beauty blender, to set my makeup and also in homemade face masks! For best results, store this in the fridge for a burst of extra cooling freshness every time you use this, especially if you stay in hot and humid weathers.

I have combination skin which is more towards oily side during hot and humid summers and I prefer using facial mists throughout the day to keep myself feeling fresh. Some face mists can actually make your skin look shiny after a few spritz but this worked well! However, if you are using this all day long, skin can look a bit dewy after using this for about 5-6 times (on the same day, layered) which still isn’t a problem for me because it does not feel greasy. The product claims to have anti-acne compounds but it clearly did not help with my acne or prevent pore clogging. After all, its just a facial mist which is suitable for oily-combination skin and will work will even if you have acne. Overall, a decent facial mist suitable for regular use (nothing dramatic about the product though) which is definitely worth the price.

PROS:
