 You should never use a makeup sponge dry to apply foundation, especially if it's a beautyblender. You should squish it under water about eight times until it's fully saturated. Then, wring out the excess water. Not only will this give you more of a natural finish that you can build upon, but it also won't allow the sponge to soak up excess foundation.

Fo the foundation firstly u hv to find out the skin type either its oily/dry/combination/normal or sensitive dan u hv to choose the foundation accordingly....n yes u hv to make the blender wet before the application of  foundation ...dis will definitely give u a good coverage n your foundation won't look like cakey
