It really hydrates the lips and has a hint of flavour/smell of vanilla and coco which I absolutely love. There was some tingling sensation at first when I applied tge balm, but now I don't feel it anymore, maybe because I have become numb to it, who knows. The balm does not leave white residue on the lips and is good to go as a base for lip products. It has very thin consistency more or less like a neutrogena lip balm which has the same features minus the flavour/smell.
