Peppermint is grown in moisture laden areas of Himalayan Hills. Peppermint roots are planted in the fields and watered adequately for a week. Leaves are plucked once the plants are 3 months old. The leaves are then sundried for 3 days before they are packed.
Preparation instruction: Bring water to boil, use one teaspoon per cup and let it steep for 5 minutes or longer. Cover the pot or cup with lid to preserve the oils of the infusion. Strain and serve with plain honey.
