First things first, it is highly pigmented & blurring - so use a fluffy brush & a light hand. I have reactive sensitive skin, and it did not cause any visible irritation. The rosehip scent is very minimal and not overwhelming. Now the shade - I have been searching for a blush that does not look unnatural on my face. I have tried charlotte tilbury unreal blush stick, armani silk glow, chanel water blush, and fenty blush stick - they were okay, but did not give me the look that I was searching for. Finally, I decided to give the YSL blurring blush a try - its not luminous or glowy, it is soft matte and doesn’t look cakey. I add d’Alba first serum spray for the days I want a dewy or radiant look, and it stays without darkening, pilling or oxidising throughout the day - good to mention that I have outdoorsy work that includes sun exposure and sweating. I give it 4/5 because if you tap your brush into the pan and are not light-handed, it easily deposits a bright clown-like streak that is hard to diffuse on pale skin tones. Also, even though I love it on my skin, this particular shade is not for warm tones as it might clash with your natural tone.
