Oatmeal is a natural exfoliator, which means it gently removes dead surface skin cells to reveal fresh, radiant skin underneath. It also mattifies skin by absorbing extra oil from pores and calms itching and other inflammatory skin conditions.
You will need:
  • 4 tablespoon Oatmeal
  • 1 teaspoon Honey
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoon Yoghurt
  • Hot water
Blend the oatmeal to a fine powder. Add hot water to form a paste that is not flowy or too thick. To this mixture add honey, yoghurt and lemon juice and mix well. Apply this paste evenly on your face. When the facial mask completely dries and tightens on skin, rinse off with lukewarm water.
Tip: Use a hydrating lightweight moisturizer like Forest Essentials Light Hydrating Moisturising Facial Gel Pure Aloe Vera to keep your skin looking healthy and fresh.

Bentonite Clay Mask

A homemade bentonite clay detox foot mask pulls out unwanted toxins and impurities through the pores of the skin on your feet. It also increases circulation and exfoliates dead skin cells to make your feet soft, smooth and pretty.
You will need:
  • 3 tablespoon Bentonite Clay
  • 3 tablespoon Water
Put both ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Remember, once you put on the mask, you won’t be able to walk around for about 30 minutes so settle down in a comfy place with everything you might need.  Apply the mask all over your feet with special emphasis on the soles and heels. After 30 minutes, wet the mask and lightly scrub before washing off completely. Towel dry and follow up with your favorite moisturizer.
