You should try something with natural ingredients like bhringraj, coconut and amla. Why don't you try the Indulekha Hair Oil and Shampoo. I have heard alot about it and as it contains all natural herbs , its the safest option to try. Just warm  the oil with the help of double boiling method and then use it on the scalp. Use the oil once a week for atleast two months to see effective result
